Don’t waste your time, or more importantly – your money, betting on sports with your provincial lottery corporation. Betting on sports with provincial lotteries isn’t worth the money. You’re forced into a parlay at minimum (they don’t let you place singles), their odds are never as good as what you can find online (as a result your payouts will always be less, sometimes by as much as 50%!), and your selection of sports, events and the bet types for each are limited (with online sportsbooks you can choose from a variety of different bet types, and you can bet on nearly anything – including TV, Politics, and Celebrities).
If you’re going to bet on sports online, do it smart. Make your picks and then check out all the different online sportsbooks to find the best odds for the picks you want to make; then, and only then, should you risk your hard earned cash.
